MANGA and ART WORKSHOP.
Among the many manga experiences, here at the Takuma Tanaka Studio, we propose a multi-layered learning lesson that examines the origins of manga and the differences between art and manga, with commentary by Takuma Tanaka, an expert in the field of art.
➀When you arrive, you will learn the difference between manga and art in an orientation session.
②You will then draw a manga. There, you will learn how to draw manga. First, we will ask you to choose a character you would like to draw.
③First, we will give you a lesson on how to draw the basic elements that characterize a cartoon.
④Furthermore, we will draw the whole character based on those characteristics.
⑤Then, the students will draw the whole character with watercolor or pastel and deliver it to you.
The entire process up to this point will take about one hour. The price is 12,000 yen, which includes all of the above and makes it easy for you to take home a piece of work you have drawn as a souvenir.
