Rising Sun captures the moment when light begins to emerge over the horizon. Thick layers of paint build a restless landscape of blue, turquoise, ochre, and earth tones, while a vivid red sun becomes the emotional center of the composition.

For me, the rising sun represents rebirth, hope, and the strength to begin again. Even after darkness or difficulty, another morning comes. The heavily textured surface preserves the physical movement of the brush, giving the painting a sense of energy that feels almost alive.

The small scale makes the work intimate, but the red sun gives it a surprisingly powerful presence—a quiet reminder that renewal can begin from even the smallest point of light.
